RED COLOR

But you can get a completely contrary result if use the red palette very carefully and cautiously (especially in combination with blue). ORANGE COLOR

This is a life-asserting and invigorating color, with no cold shades. This color incorporates the advantages of red and yellow. Even in large quantities, it does not cause any irritation or negative emotions. In the interior it creates the impression of friendliness and a comfortable ambience, fills the room with light, warmth and optimism.

The color of tangerines is perfect for those who wish to increase the feeling of vitality and joie de vivre in the interior. It is useful when you need increased activity and amiability (ie, suitable for office, kitchen, dining room, library). Most often, pure orange color is used as a bright accent in the form of accessories – pillows, lamps.

It is important to remember – the orange color visually narrows space in the room.

YELLOW COLOR

This intensive bright color is the color of happiness, sunshine, freedom, fun, and therefore creates optimistic and invigorating mood. Yellow encourages for new ideas and correct decisions. It is well combined with all the warm shades that always bring a positive charge and emotions.

The yellow color is advised to use in areas where you need temporary concentration and self-organization – in cabinet, office, living room or kitchen. In addition, this color increases cognitive interest with memory improvement. Thus, you can choose it for the interior of a child’s room (but in small quantities, otherwise kids may be too cheerful and lively, especially before sleep).

However, there are some negative aspects – yellow is not recommended for use in rooms of people with insomnia or stomach diseases.

In contrast to the orange color, the yellow one expands space.

BROWN COLOR

This color is associated with confidence, tradition and conservatism. This choice will bring nobleness to your room. Also, this color symbolizing the Earth, is considered to be the color of reliability, endurance, loyalty, common sense and diligence. But the overabundance of the dark brown shade in the design can cause boredom, anxiety, depression, frustration. Light, warm and neutral shades of brown can be used in any proportions.

It is worth noting that the color of wood is pertinent in any room: living room, bedroom, nursery, bathroom, coffee shop, office, kitchen, hallway, etc. Choose shades of cream, red and brown, yellowish brown, dark chocolate, brown-ocher, the color of coffee with milk – all of them will look attractive with the right combination.

BLUE COLOR

It is fresh and relaxing color. It embodies tranquility, serenity, calmness, ease and depth. It can liberate man from fussy thoughts and unnecessary negative anxiety, plunging him into the element of peace and coolness.

Light blue shade has an ability to square off and to inspire for creative ideas at the same time. It is suitable for practicing meditation, relaxation, contemplation, helps with insomnia. The violet color is not natural, and you shouldn’t use it in large quantities in your interior. It is never used as a dominant. If you like this color, you can add accents of the violet shades that create an extravagant atmosphere. When combined with yellow and orange colors, the violet shade enhances self-esteem.

Be careful – this color visually narrows space.

PINK COLOR

This color indicates reverie, strong feelings, love, romance, tenderness, attractiveness. The pink color inspires optimism; it can neutralize the aggressiveness and lead to relaxation, gets rid of negative thoughts and creates a sense of comfort.

The pink color is commonly used in girls’ bedrooms, but you can also apply it in the living room or kitchen. Attention should be given to the sense of measure in the use of the pink color in the interior. The oversupply can lead to mawkishness and rosewater.

The best solution is a combination with another color 50/50. Such colors are suitable: white, beige, cream, grey. Do not be afraid to use bright accents.

GREEN COLOR

It is a versatile color. It symbolizes life, nature, spring, harmony and kindness. Shades of green have different energy. Lighter shades are designed for those who are in search of joy, new beginnings, constant renewal of life, meetings and travel. Conservative person will like a serious and persistent dark green color.

Green color helps in the case of negative mental states and such diseases as claustrophobia, flu, bronchitis, diseases of lungs and heart. It brings people together, fills with harmony and promotes the adoption of important decisions.

Thus, we can say that this color has a predisposition both to relax and to motivate to action; so this gamut can be used in cabinet, office, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room, child’s room, restaurants.

WHITE COLOR

This color combines all the colors of the spectrum and in general is considered to be positive. It symbolizes peace, spirituality, tranquility, purity, purity, concentration, virginity. You can use it to paint walls, ceiling or floor, but of course only in high and spacious rooms. However this color also loves measure – in large quantities it suppresses and even causes a feeling of depression.

Psychologists don’t recommend the combination of white and black colors – even small amounts it can be annoying and may instill a sense of discomfort.

GREY COLOUR

On the one hand, the grey color means realism and common sense, on the other hand – despondency, boredom, sadness, depression, oppression. In short, this is a union of opposites: white and black.

It has many beautiful shades that look great in the interior design. For example, pearl grey, silver, ashen, metallic, plumbeous etc. With the right combination, gray looks attractive and stylish.

It has an ability to soften the bright hues. This color is often used in modern interiors of living room, kitchen, bedroom, nursery, office.
