How to remove some stains. Part 1

remove stainsEvery housewife has her own tricks and secrets that she uses at home. If you have not mastered the technique of high-quality cleaning yet, here are a few tips on how to get rid of some completely unnecessary stains. So, here we go!

1. Stains from any citrus fruit can be removed with the help of hot milk. Strange? Yes! But it works! Boil some milk. The amount depends on the thing/clothes/whatever you need to clean. So pour milk into a container in such a way that part of the thing with a spot could be put right there. Leave it for twenty minutes and then wash the thing as usual.

2. Chewing gum. It’s terrible when we suddenly find it on the clothes. To remove the chewing gum residues, cool the spot with ice wrapped in a cloth. So it will be easier to scrape it off the surface.

3. Nobody likes dirty windows, especially stains on them. A half of onion will help us! Wipe the glass by it, and onion will quickly clean the glass surface, leaving no smell! If you wipe the windows with a special mixture, they will stay clean much longer. The recipe is as follows: 30 ml of water, 70 ml of glycerol and a few drops of ammonia.

4. Ink stains on linoleum can be removed with fine-grained sandpaper; then lubricate this place with sunflower oil and rub carefully with a piece of woolen cloth.

If the ink stain has appeared on the cloth, you can use glycerin. For this you need to keep the cloth in glycerin at least for an hour. Then, rinse the thing in warm slightly salted water. If there are still traces, wash out the cloth in warm soapy water.

5. In order to get rid of greasy stains on the carpet, you should rub the stain with a mixture of washing powder and petrol. Leave the spot for a few hours and then rinse with hot water.

6. You have purchased new cookware, but the joy is quickly replaced by anger, when you try to remove the marks of price tags and labels. No problem! Grease the stain thoroughly with vegetable oil, and then by the ordinary washing up liquid.

7. Stains from a hot iron can be removed with the juice of onion. Wet the stain by juice and leave for several hours. Then wash the thing as usual. If this is a large spot, you need to put the gruel of grated onion on the stain and leave for a while, then rinse well in cold water. It is also possible to moisten the stain by boric acid, and then wash the cloth in water of room temperature. If it is white cloth, you can use such a mixture: a glass of water, 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide and a few drops of ammonia.

8. You can easily remove stains from cologne and perfume, if immediately wipe this place alcohol. Ingrained white fabrics with stains can be removed with a mixture of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide in a ratio of 1: 1.

9. To remove stains from nail polish on the clothes, place blotting paper on the spot, and moisten the reverse side of the cloth with acetone. Continue these actions often changing the paper until the stain is disappeared.

10. Grass stains can be removed with a solution of common salt (1 teaspoon per half a cup of warm water), then rinse in warm water. The spots of grass on white fabrics will disappear with the help of a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide and a few drops of ammonia.
